Individual Health
We are going through a time of change, the biggest we have had in the healthcare industry in the last 50 years. Starting on January 1, 2014, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will be fully implemented and it will be the law that you MUST have health insurance. Here are some questions that may come to mind….. If I already have insurance do I need to switch? How much will I have to pay? What is an exchange? What is considered “affordable”? What if I have a pre-existing condition? Do I qualify for a cost-sharing subsidy? What do these metals mean…? Platinum? Gold? Silver? Bronze? Which one is best for me? These are all questions I’m happy to answer and will help you get the best coverage to suit your needs.
I am an Affordable Care Act Certified Insurance Agent and can help you review options on the Covered California website and also review your options for coverage in the private insurance market.
Group Health
Small group plans can be issued for 50 or fewer employees. Employers with 50 or fewer are not required to provide health insurance but it can help attract and retain the best talent. Health care reform will help simplify your choices and expand employee options. I can help you review the different options available to your company and enroll your employees in their coverage.
