Halloween Harvest Festival at Pierce College

This year, the 2013 Halloween Harvest Festival will take place at Pierce College for six weeks, starting on September 27 and running through November 3rd. Halloween may technically fall on October 31st, but fall harvest is more of a seasonal thing.

This year’s festival is offering Southern California residents the opportunity to enjoy scary fun, entertainment, and kid-friendly activities for a good part of the season. This is one event that will offer plenty of features and attractions that are sure to appeal to the entire family.

Holiday Hill Farms – is home to Pierce College’s very own pick-your-own pumpkin patch. The Holiday Hill Farms Stage will offer entertainment from Spookley, the Square Pumpkin and his sidekick, Jack, the Scarecrow.

Other kid friendly activities include hay rides, the chance to see farm animals, an adventure corn maze and a host of other fun things to do and see.

The main festival hours will be from 10 AM to 10 PM Sunday through Thursday, and 10 AM to Midnight on weekends.

For those who want to experience some scarier fun, come on out to the Fright Fair Scream Park, starting at dusk where the “Factory of Nightmares” Haunted House and the “Creatures of the Corn” Haunted Trail with some really scary stuff. Make sure you’ve got a friend or loved one to hold on to, so you don’t endure all that chilling stuff alone.

The Haunted House and Trail are open from September 28th to 30th, October 5th to 7th, 11th to 14th, 17th to 21st, the 23rd to 31st, and then again from November 1st to 3rd.
